A MESSAGE FROM KYLE WARD AT UNIVERSITY OF NORTHERN COLORADO -- I have been asked by Bitna Kim, the incoming president of ACJS, to put a featured presidential panel together for the ACJS program in Denver in 2025. So this would be for next March. The topic will be on rural crime and I think it would be a great opportunity to get some of the foundational names in our field to be part of our panel. Would you be interested in joining this panel at ACJS in 2025? We are still in the planning phases, but I have a working title of the panel and hope that we can present current research we are conducting or sharing research/perspective of the current state of the field relating to rural crime. My working title for the panel is: "Navigating the Unique Challenges of Rural Crime: Strategies for Effective Enforcement and Community Engagement"
