Just released by Bristol University Press is a ground-breaking book that attempts to summarize the rural criminology literature for each continent. This book is a sequel to the Encyclopedia of Rural Crime. In that book, part V included short account of the rural crime and criminal justice literature on all 7 continents.
The International Journal of Rural Criminology (IJRC) is a double blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to publishing empirical and theoretical work related to crime and criminal justice issues associated with diverse rural places of the world. It also provides an outlet for practitioners to provide insights into innovations in tackling rural crime.
The journal serves as the official organ of the International Society for the Study of Rural Crime, Inc.; the American Society of Criminology’s Division of Rural Criminology; and the European Rural Criminology Working Group, European Society of Criminology.
The International Journal of Rural Criminology is published by The Ohio State University Libraries.
Beginning with Volume 3, Issue 2, the International Journal of Rural Criminology is published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives license unless otherwise indicated.
