The UN Crime Congress in 2026

The UN Crime Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice will be held on April 25-30, 2026 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It is held once every five years. The UN Sustainability Goals are becoming more articulated within criminological circles, and since the world is still more than 40 percent rural, perhaps this will be a big opportunity for some rural criminologists to attend, present papers, and make new friends.
